A complimentary consultation is the first step for anyone considering a dog training program with Unleashed. It's a great opportunity for us to get to know you and your pet and talk about the goals you’d like to achieve.

Just like with people, it's never too late or too early for a dog to learn! Perfect Puppy Basics is great for furbabies just starting out so they become well socialized and comfortable in everyday situations. Adult dogs with no previous training can also benefit from obedience and behavior modification training later in life to build skills, confidence and manners.

Unleash is owned and operated by a Certified Professional Dog Trainer. Certification was earned by completing an in-person multi-week course with in-depth studies of both on and off leash obedience, behavior modification/counseling, utility/confidence training and puppy development. This educational foundation is invaluable when providing instruction and making recommendations to clients.

With so many training methods out there, which one is 'the best'. 'The best' method is the one YOU are comfortable with. At Unleash, we use BALANCED SCALE TRAINING. Reward & accountability are the foundations of Balanced Scale Training. It teaches each dog the behaviors & choices he/she makes result in different outcomes. This encourages dog to make GOOD choices. When a good choice is made, verbal & physical praise is awarded. This training approach views praise given by the pet parent as THE MOST VALUABLE REWARD to the dog above all else (i.e. food, toys). Clear communication is key in this training.

It's up to you! Unleash provides In-Home Private Training Sessions and Day Training Sessions that take place at Unleash facilities. No group classes are scheduled at this time. When available Group Training Classes are offered on an invitation basis to Unleash clients who have completed a training program and would thrive in a group class setting.

Unleash provides behavior modification programs that address a variety of aggressive behaviors dogs can exhibit in various situations. The first step is to identify the challenges. After evaluating your dog's specific needs, Unleash will make recommendations regarding next steps.

No, Unleash does not offer overnight residency training programs. However, we do offer Day Training Sessions - COMING IN FALL 2024 - that allow your dog to come to Unleash facilities to learn new training skills or get a refresher on skills they already know. Simply drop your dog off in the morning and pick them up later the same day. - LEARN MORE -

Unleash is located in Pataskala, Ohio on Havens Corner Road. The boutique training facility is located on the Founder's residential property. Clients are given the complete facility address upon booking consultation and/or training appointment.

Unleash wholesome snacks feature ‘people food’. Our recipes are simple and use fresh, human-grade ingredients. What’s on the label is what’s in the snack. It’s that simple.

Unleash recommends all Pet Parents consider these factors prior to serving your dog any food items containing human-grade ingredients: · Snacks are to be given intermittently, not as a meal replacement. · Review ingredient label on all snacks prior to serving it to your dog. · Consult with your veterinarian about an appropriate diet for your dog, especially for dogs with allergies.
