HOW I GOT HERE
GOING FROM CLIENT TO CERTIFIED PROFESSIONAL DOG TRAINER
After years of being a dog mom who was always the TRAINEE, I decided to take the leap and become the TRAINER. I’ve had the pleasure of growing up with dogs my entire life. As an adult, I’ve experienced the joy - and heartbreak - of being a pet parent to Wyatt and Moxley, two handsome fellas with HUGE personalities. Both rescue pups with quirks and special challenges, these boys have taught me A LOT of life lessons like; being responsible for something other than myself, keeping my cool when things don’t go as planned, quick thinking in the moment, and what it’s like to give & receive unconditional love. #IfYouKnow,YouKnow.

Both of my boys inspired me in different ways to become a Certified Dog Trainer. Going through training with them was a joy. It feels great to give Wyatt & Moxley instruction, watch them understand, then see them look to me and seem to excitedly ask, “What’s next, mom?” But honestly, the challenges inspire me too. Moxley’s anxiety-related behavior issues are stressful and emotional. I wanted to – I needed to – understand how to help him live his best life so my family and I could live ours.
